History of the business
Anga Bisutería S.L. was funded in 1958 by Gabriel Gelabert and Angela Carretero. The small family business is now managed by their two sons Juan Carlos and Gabi. This business is dedicated to the manufacturing of costume jewellery.
The factory is in the Balearic Islands, Minorca, which is the most eastern Island of the archipelago. Menorca is the Spanish region where there are more makers of costume jewellery manufacturers.
The origins of jewellery manufacture in Minorca ca be found in the middle of the XIX century when the local silversmiths were manufacturing silver mesh purses and exporting them to many parts of the world.
In 1994 we inaugurated a new factory. The building consists of 1200 square meters. We works with the most advanced technology in metal jewellery manufacture.
